Mizumi All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

Whoa. I can’t even remember the last time I went to an all-you-can-eat buffet. It’s not something you find in the city very often. A family friend wanted to take my husband and me out for lunch, so we went out to Little Neck to do an all-you-can-eat Asian buffet at Mizumi.

It’s quite amazing seeing that much sushi and sashimi just laid out is such mass quantities. They even had fresh noodle bowls, fried foods and desserts. For $22.95 on the weekends, you get to sit for 1.5 hours to cram as much as you can into your belly. Definitely be sure to try out the ramen or udon noodle bowls that they ladle out to you as you order. That and the sushi were my favorite things to eat there.

I didn’t do that great. Made it through 2 plates, a small bowl of ramen and then a bit of dessert, but still totally worth the price, considering what I ate would have cost much more a la carte.

Just a tip, make sure to get there when they open on the weekends, otherwise you’ll find yourself waiting for a while.
