I Will Remember You…

Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by,
Weep not for the memories

No, I’m not shutting down my blog. Rather, I was procrastinating from work (I see a theme here in my life) and felt like blogging. And then I starting scrolling through my food photos and was like ‘OMG, I ate some really good food!’ and got a little misty-eyed. I don’t do that as much anymore. Mainly because it’s hard for me to leave my baby (I’m kind of attached to him) and I want to enjoy the loss of my pregnancy weight for a while. So, instead of writing about one place in this post, I thought it would be fun if I posted a handful of pics that got me drooling.

Pretend that I’m narrating everything to you and I’m holding one of those clickers that I can click to bring up the next photo (your cue to scroll). Come on! It’ll be more fun that way for everyone.

L’artusi – So it’s not the drinks that get me going about this place (they are good though), but the food is so good, especially for the price. Surprisingly, I have no food pics taken here!! I wonder if it was too dark or if I was distracted. My first time here, I split 5 pasta dishes with my amazing husband. I ordered gnocchi for dessert and the waiter said, “I’ve never had anyone do that before…but I like where this is going.” I did too!

21 Club – This spot will always have a special place in my heart. Seen here is an appetizer portion of the lobster ravioli.

ABC Kitchen – My go-to restaurant! It’s always tasty, fresh, and consistent. I love going with friends and just having a good time. The staff is always friendly.

Rizzo’s – This is some good pizza. Love the classic square with its nice and thin crust. I could eat a whole pie. I may have tried to at one point, but was asked to share.

American Cut – Not only was I pleased with the food here, but the drinks were UH-mazing. Loved the ambiance too.

Oxheart – It doesn’t exist anymore because the chef wanted to try new things, but this mainly vegetarian restaurant was hands-down, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

Ray’s Candy Store – I love soft-serve and loooooove the prices, taste and serving sizes at Ray’s. It’s a super special business!

Stew Leonard’s – There’s something very comforting about a whole tray of fried chicken that makes me very happy.
