Baked Kale Recipe
I first wrote about baked kale in 2010. Wow, I didn’t even realize that I’ve had this blog for that long. Baked kale is still one of my favorite snacks, which happens to be healthy. I have a slight update to it since I have a new oven, and super sharp knives now.
Ingredients
1 bunch of kale, washed
Salt to taste
2 TBS of olive oil
Now What?
Hold the stem of the kale toward the ceiling and then you a sharp knife to simply slice the leaf off of the stem. Repeat with each leaf. Break the leaves up into large chunks and throw into a bowl. Mix with the olive oil and salt. Use your hands and really get in there to coat all of the leaves.
Spread onto a baking sheet so that they aren’t crowded. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until the leaves are crispy.
