Smith & Wollensky Grill NYC
I actually wasn’t going to write about Wollensky Grill because these pictures came out so horrible due to the lighting, but when I saw these images again, I still recalled how much I enjoyed that damn lobster roll and had to. Everything was actually delicious and everything was eaten. I’m not sure if we had any leftovers to be honest (it was a while ago, so I can’t remember).
Wollensky Grill is a more casual offshoot of Smith & Wollensky (which is a great steakhouse).
I can’t remember details about the calamari, but I’m pretty sure the bowl was empty by the time we received our entrees so it couldn’t have been bad. The cocktails were great because we had multiples.
My husband thought that his steak was delicious, and I was super excited about my dish.
I got the Surf and Turf course, which consisted of fries, a filet mignon sandwich and a lobster roll. Delicious. The lobster was cooked beautifully and had a great flavor to eat. I remember thinking and telling the manager who came by to check on us that it was one of the better lobster rolls in the city.
We polished off all of the macaroni and cheese with no issue.
The night ended with some coconut cream cake and cognac.
Everything just tasted extremely comforting and satisfying.
I have no idea how I ate so much food, but it was well worth the trip to the gym. After seeing these pictures, I do want to make a return trip.
