Lose 10 Pounds in One Week – Menu 1
P’s been recovering from surgery so I have taken over all of his meal planning and cooking. Because he isn’t able to do Crossfit, he’s been worried about gaining weight from being sedentary. I’ve been trying to help him eat healthier, and to my surprise and our joy, in the last seven days, he has actually dropped 10 lbs. We’re going to assume that some of it is muscle, but he does look trimmer and his clothes are looser, so some of it has to be fat right? Because he is a male, I’ve been trying to keep his calorie count to around 2,000 a day. For liquids, he has been drinking water, diet sodas and teas with honey. I’m going to be scattering his meal plans throughout Chasing James Beard because I don’t feel like dealing with multiple blogs.
The inspiration from his meal is from a food app that I love called the Intelli Diet app. I’ve used that as a basis for what I feed him throughout the day. He’s not a big fan of veggies and fruits, so you are going to see a lot of repeats here because there are only a handful he will eat. For the most part he’s never hungry. As a matter of fact, he has problems finishing some of the meals due to the large amount of veggies.
WOMEN CAN USE THE IDEA OF THESE MEAL PLANS, BUT SHOULD NOT FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY. UNLESS YOU WORK OUT LIKE CRAZY, THE CALORIE INTAKE IS TOO HIGH FOR YOU.
