Have A Delicious Time At ABC Kitchen

Looking for light and tasty fair, where all the ingredients are so fresh? Then you must make a reservation and pop by ABC Kitchen when you have a chance. Just as beautifully decorated as Pipa is, as they are both from ABC Home, it has a shabby chic feel to it that makes you want to serve everything in your own place off of wooden tables and in mismatched settings.

The bread was lovely, as was the olive oil. And I love me a good olive oil.

It’s a crab toast with lemon aioli. I really enjoy how incredibly light this was and that they used so much crab meat. It tasted fresh too and I didn’t get any shell!

Pretzel dusted calamari. You couldn’t actually taste pretzel in it, but there was a saltiness to it and slight twist on taste to it that your tongue might slightly detect and wonder what made it different from your usual fried calamari.

Raw diver scallops with market chilies, fennel and mint. It’s a fun dish that has a slight sweetness to it that is counterbalanced by black peppercorn. Great for scallop lovers.

Roasted carrot and avocado salad. These carrots have some kick to them! You will definitely taste and feel the heat. It’s been on their menu since day one. Great for a light lunch or appetizer. Do I need to order it again? No. But did I enjoy it? Yes.

Mushroom, parmesan, oregano and farm egg pizza. Definitely one dish that we were all loving, but we also all admitted that the best part were the bites that had the runny farm egg on it. The bites that didn’t were good, but didn’t hold a candle to the ones covered in egg. I wish they just covered the whole pie up in runny eggs so that you couldn’t not get a taste of it. The combination was fantastic.
