Get Your Rib On

Is that a rack of St. Louis ribs? Why, yes, yes it is. After a late morning of eggs, sweet tea vodka, tequila and whiskey, we were like, lets get some BBQ. Mmmm, manly meats. And off to Rub BBQ we went! Definitely not the best ribs in NYC, Dinosaur BBQ still holds that honor in my heart, but they were decent. Next time, I’m going to try the baby back ribs instead. I like it when my ribs pull right off the bones with a tug of the teeth, and this rack didn’t do that, so I’m thinking that the baby backs might be a bit more tender. What do you guys think?

I’m talking to no one aren’t I?

One more thing, I wasn’t really feeling the rub that they cooked the meats in. I don’t know what they use, but the combination didn’t come full circle for me.

Now why am I going back there if I wasn’t head over heels for the St. Louis rack at Rub? I love ribs. Just because they aren’t my favorites, doesn’t mean that I won’t enjoy them. Because I will still most definitely chow down on them so that sauce covers my entire face. Classy. I know.
