Fresh Finds at Fig & Olive

Fig and Olive doesn’t have an innovative menu, but what they do have going for them is great food. All of these dishes were consistently fresh tasting, light and tasty. They really make you taste and appreciate each ingredient. It kind of wakens up your taste buds.

One dozen mixed raw oysters. You can’t go wrong with oysters.

3 types of crostini. Manchego, fig spread and almond. Eggplant, basil and sundried tomato. Mushroom, artichoke, truffle and parmesan. I would eat all three again. The crostinis were bold tasting, without being overpowering.

Salad Nicoise is a classic and I loved how fabulous the haricot verts were. Definitely the stand out of this plate.

My guest and I also split a bottle of wine and it was smooth, light and went down easily.
