Family Recipes Series: Yummy Crab Stuffing

I was so excited when Joiee was able to participate in our Family Recipes series because her mother is suppose to be an amazing cook. Yes, I understand that a lot of people feel this way about her family, but her mom owns a diner that people head to on a regular basis so I felt that her claim was supported. Because Joiee is a pescetarian, her mom needed to find quick, but tasty dishes to cook for her at family get togethers in addition to her regular meals for everyone else. And this is how she came up with her easy, peasy crab stuffing.

Ingredients

1/2 crabmeat

1/4 stick of butter

A box of Stovetop stuffing

A small handful of sliced scallions

A small handful of diced green pepper

Now What?

Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the crabmeat, green pepper and packet of seasonings (comes with the Stove Top package). When that’s well mixed, add in water and finish cooking according to the directions on the package and –voila!- that’s all there is to it.

Sound simple enough to me!
