Dragon Fruit

Dragon fruit is a magical looking fruit. It reminds me of a pretty pink covered dalmatian. From the bright pink scaled skin, to the brilliant white flesh with allover black seeds it reminds me of this fantastic cartoon character. It seems unreal. It’s the unreal cartoon fruit.

Never had one before? They are very juicy, light and refreshing. The taste reminds me of a cross between a sweet fruit with an accent of vegetable. No seriously, an accent of vegetable. You’ll get what I am talking about when you taste it yourself. It’s a fantastic fruit to enjoy in the summer. If you have guests coming over, you can scoop out the insides and use the pink shells as serving bowls for sorbet, fruit salads, etc.
