Dear Mama Coffee
I was scrolling through the food pictures on my computer and couldn’t resist sharing this Underwest donut pic I took because I think it’s pretty. So I didn’t get this donut from Underwest, I got it from Dear Mama Coffee in East Harlem. It’s a cute and fairly new coffee shop that is filled with a lot of people furiously typing away on their laptops. I can’t tell if people who work from home just need to get out of the house and work in a different environment, or if there are ton of Airbnb folk looking for some free Wi-Fi.
The café does serve more than just baked goods now, think along the lines of salads and sandwiches. In addition, I was told that they now serve wine and beer. Alcohol is a plus for those who just want to chill out locally.
If you are a fan of art, it seems that their display is constantly rotating, so I am also going to assume that the pieces hanging up are also for sale.
