Cheese From Cheez

My good friend Cheez loves cheese, so it was such a wonderful surprise when she gifted me with a ton of it. She remembered that when I dined at Joel Robuchon in Vegas, I fell in love with two in particular (I probably would have fallen for more, but I was so full by the time they brought the cheese cart around that I only tried six). The two that I absolutely loved were the Mimolette and Cowgirl Creamery’s Red Hawk.

The Mimolette was a beautiful, bright orange hue and hearty in texture. The Red Hawk, a triple-cream that has won awards from the American Cheese Society.

I ate every single bite of each one without sharing.

I’m very grateful to have such thoughtful friends.
