Want To Impress Your Date? Try A Supper Club

So, I’m going to try my hardest to make it, but I also want to share this cool supper club type dinner with you guys. Formerly of New York City’s The Meatball Shop in the Lower East Side, Chef Nicholas Porcelli (see picture above, and hands off ladies, he’s taken) will be hosting a dinner at Boom in Soho for a small crowd of people. $60 will get you a pre-fixe dinner made up of 5 courses that focus on new American cuisine. There may also be hints of Italian and French cooking in there as well, it will be a fun surprise! Porcelli got to train under some of the most prominent names in today’s culinary industry such as Chef Daniel Holzman of The Meatball Shop, Chef Jeremy Bearman of Rouge Tomate, Chef Kyle Baily of Allen and Delancey, Chef David Chang of Momofuku, Celebrity Chef Aaron Sanchez of Centrico and his original mentor Chef John Schaefer of Irving Mill.

Oh, and dessert will be concocted by Pastry Chef Robert Bryant! If you are looking to impress someone with a date that won’t break the bank, will be cozy and make the two of you feel incredibly special, this is the way to go.

Deets are that the dinner will be taking place on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 for one night and if you’re lucky, you might get invited to future one off private dinners that will be held around New York City;).
